After becoming engaged, I gained this awesome idea to make a bunch of doilies for the dinner tables for the reception after the wedding ceremony. This doily was one of the best I've made, and quite beautiful in my opinion. The other doilies that I created were a bit messier as I didn't rip out the stitches to fix mistakes - I got a bit impatient after about the fifth doily. Thank goodness a friend came to the rescue and found a small collection of doilies at Goodwill, thus ending my seemingly endless doily making.
